But what is TechTalk?
A place where technicians are encouraged, supported and nurtured. A chance to become part of a community, where we help each other, share information and grow together.
Over the years, technicians have kept knowledge and information for themselves. Why? Because they believe if they share it with others, it will devalue them, people will overtake and steal their clients? Recently though, we've seen a huge shift in this mindset in the industry. More and more technicians are adopting the same principles as dentists, where they collaborate and excel TOGETHER.
Each year, there's a constant increase in newly qualified dentists, but also a constant decrease in dental technicians. Too much work and not enough technicians, means there will always be work for us all. It makes sense to be a part of a community, where you can ask questions, help other technicians and allow the industry as a whole to develop. Not only will you be advancing your own career and businesses, you can support the younger generation with inspiration and motivation.
Whether you are digital, removable, fixed, implants, ortho or a student, everyone is welcome.
Web browser or phone app, it's accessible for any technician. Whether you're on the move or prefer it open at your bench.
Let's take a look...
A space to find dental technology news, events and courses. Seminars, podcasts or charity work. A place for job opportunities or lab equipment.
A space for new information, tips and tricks. New content is added weekly and the community is encouraged to share too. Even the smallest tip is valuable to others and can also guide people to your own site or courses.
Ask The Community
A discussion board where you can search keywords, ask questions and reply to others. One quick tip on how to overcome an error code could save a fellow technicians hours of stress.
Showcase your work
A new audience for you to share your work with. Use it to self-advertise, promote your lab and inspire the community.

Access to all of this for... yep. Not kidding. 49p a month! That's less than the cheapest iCloud storage (which none of us have because we have thousands of tooth pictures on our phones, duh). It's a no brainer.
